Fire Station 39
Fire Station 39 is a 3-bay station located in south
Charlotte. This station houses an engine company and a battalion
chief. The station was designed to accommodate a ladder company
in the future. The design utilizes special "green" building
practices as well as special design features including the use
of manufactured stone, barrel tile roof awnings, and large
timber framing in the apparatus room.
