Fire Station 24
The design for this new 18,000 s.f., three apparatus bay station provides dedicated men's bunks for 8, dedicated women's bunks for 4, and two seta of "flex" bunks for 2 each. A covered breezeway provides a protected outdoor dining area as well as an all weather connection to the separate training class room that seats 40.

The station is distinguished by built-in training features that include a confined space rescue pit accessed through a two story shaft, numerous interior windows at the apparatus training mezzanine that are located and configured for ground ladder training and bailout exercises, and a waterproof hose tower that will double for training with charged hoses on the interior stairs. The tower also features two exterior balconies for use with high-angle rescue, ground ladder evolutions and rappelling exercises.
